Baker Concrete Construction, Inc. Carpenter Foreman in Riviera Beach, Florida

The Carpenter Foreman will posses competency in the areas listed below in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner.

  • Provides supervision to staff

  • Plans, coordinates, and delegates work

  • Plans, coordinates, assigns and participates in the execution and completion of assigned carpenter work group daily tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Footing Forms.

  • Wall and Column Forms.

  • Structural Deck Forms

  • Slab-on-Grade Forms

  • Tilt-up / Precast Forms

  • Building Layout

  • Anchorage Systems

  • Radius Forms

  • Operation of various types of lifts.

  • Examines blueprints and plans to determine dimensions of pour.

  • Inspects and ensures work performed is in conformance with specifications and JMP.

  • Establishes or adjusts work procedures within guidelines to meet production schedules.

  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of assignment.

  • Interprets and enforces safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to exert heavy physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 80 pounds

  • Ability to maintain high levels of efficiency without sacrificing safety and quality

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists

  • Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb or crawl

  • This project offer no subsistence
